Head of Acquisitions and Dispositions

Stephen Ternois’ real estate experience spans over a decade in residential and commercial real estate covering a variety of property types and capital stack variations. For the past 10+ years, he’s applied a multi-disciplinary approach to achieve outsized returns to limited partners by applying his skill set through underwriting, investor relations, capital raising, and asset management. Mr. Ternois currently serves as Head of Acquisitions & Dispositions at 5 Rivers. He most recently served as the Chief Operating Officer for a single-family office based in Houston, Texas to build a real estate syndication platform to accommodate outside investors. He also held various positions including Vice President of Sales for a $800M Non-Traded REIT specializing in retail, office, and industrial property types throughout Texas. Mr. Ternois also served as a former Associate Director of Investor Relations at Alpha Residential (FKA Alpha Capital Partners) where he was responsible for all capital raising and investor relations efforts. Over a 3-year time span, grew AUM from $150M to over $650M, raised over $150M across the platform through acquisition of multi-family, student housing, and medical office opportunities. Prior to Alpha Residential, Mr. Ternois started his commercial real estate career at 5 Rivers CRE (FKA CRS Realty) where he spearheaded the underwriting, capital raising, and investor reporting for the company’s largest lifetime acquisition - $50M regional power center in Oxford, AL. Mr. Ternois prides himself on long-term, programmatic relationships with stakeholders (including investors, tenants, vendors, and capital partners) and understands the time commitment to forging these long-lasting relationships. Mr. Ternois looks forward to leveraging his entrepreneurial and resourceful nature coupled with his array of experience to drive continued growth for 5 Rivers CRE.  Stephen Ternois attended college at Tulane University in New Orleans, LA with a concentration in Finance & Management.
